Yesterday, we were covering the grammar points of "比" (comparison), "比較" (comparatively), and "又... (both... and...) in class.
Little did I know it would lead to a perilous and thrilling exercise. Since we couldn't sacrifice innocent ones, they decided to sacrifice my dear parter teacher Stacy.
Teacher: Who is more beautiful?
Good student: Mandy is more beautiful!
The scheming student trying to trap Mandy chimes in: Mandy is more beautiful "than Stacy".
And then, the final blow: I've never seen Stacy, but Mandy is definitely more beautiful than Stacy.
These students are diabolical!
Teacher asks again: What about Mandy?
Student replies: Mandy is both beautiful and adorable.
Realizing one student hasn't spoken, the teacher "forces" them to say: Mandy is both beautiful and adorable.
Ten minutes later, the grammar is unforgettable, and we've added "害" (to harm) and "逼" (to force) to our vocabulary. Oh well, sacrifices were made, but hey, everyone knows Stacy is both beautiful and an amazing dancer.
